Information we handle
To provide the app, Watch It Buddy stores the email address used to sign in, your chosen display name, your watch list and viewing progress, streaming-service preferences, and buddy connections.
Buddy sharing
When you send a buddy request or recommendation, the selected buddy can see the information needed for that feature, including your display name and the show you shared. Recommendations are not posted publicly.
How information is used
We use this information only to run the app’s watch-tracking, account, and buddy-sharing features. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Storage and security
Account and app-library data are stored using Supabase so they can be available when you sign in on a new device. Access is limited to the account that owns the data and the buddies with whom you choose to share recommendations.
Your choices
You can update your display name, remove buddies, and delete shows from your lists in the app. You can also sign out at any time.
